OctPoWriMo Day 28: Belonging

Belonging with you
is as natural
as the earth meeting sky,
you the Caelus to my Tellus.

Fusing forever to create life,
we ignore any catastrophic consequences.

You emerged from a form of darkness,
and with the pure air breathed by gods,
you bestowed yourself on me,
making me part of you.

In our collective presence,
cornucopiae flourish,
yet we sow without seeding.

Together we are the elements that create the world,
belonging together irrevocably, abundantly.

Breathtaking poem. Thank you.
This struck me:
"you bestowed yourself on me,
making me part of you."
